Becoming an exchange student
We are the Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering at CTU in Prague and our speciality is education and research in the fields of Nuclear and Particle Physics, Physical Engineering, Mathematics, Informatics, Plasma and Thermonuclear Fusion, Nuclear Engineering, Chemistry, Quantum Technologies and more.
There are many special laboratories and equipment at the faculty, including two nuclear reactors (fission and fusion), with the construction of the third one already underway. Chemistry laboratories, plasma and laser laboratories, radiology and dosimetry labs as well.
Thanks to the smaller faculty size, our students are involved in the activities of departments and scientific teams early on. We have a bigger professor-student ratio resulting in a more focused education, research and family-like relationships being formed.
As an exchange student, you can experience adventures with your newfound friends and fellow students, and get to know a new culture and a new country. You’ll find out what’s it like to study at a different university, what’s life in Prague like and you get to see one of the most beautiful monuments in the World.
